In the world of Spring and Summer shoes for women, there are several big trends to be excited about this year. But topping the list are Gladiator Sandals, shoes in bright colors and patent finishes. Patent shoes have been hot for the last couple of years, but mixed with the eye-popping brights and retro styles of this season, patent footwear (high gloss) is hotter than ever.
It’s always refreshing when shoes in bright colors are so readily available. And while they’re obviously not as versatile as our black, white, or neutral shoes, they’re certainly a welcome change. Oranges, yellows, pinks, and citrus greens are especially hot, but there is no shortage or blues, reds or purples either.If you’re seriously color-shy, you won’t miss out on any of the season’s hottest styles by avoiding this trend. But, if you just aren’t sure how to wear the bright colors, don’t worry, it’s not difficult at all. Any of the brights will work with denim, black, white, light neutrals, or any print that has the same color in it.
